Gmail lets users reply to emails instantly
Google is introducing a new quick reply feature called Reply to the Gmail app for Android. It automatically appears under e-mails, reports TechRadar.
Details of the new update
The redesign simplifies the reply process, eliminating the need to scroll through the entire message to select a short reply option or enter text. Now users can start replying immediately, similar to communication in applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram.

This new feature replaces the previous Reply, Reply All, and Forward buttons, but they are still available in the new window menu. If you need to write a longer text, it can be expanded by making the window full screen.
An added benefit is that the original email you're replying to remains visible when typing a reply on your smartphone. The Quick field and keyboard open above the original message, not in a separate window.

If the user prefers to use the old format, the feature can be disabled. To do this, click the arrow to the right of the new window and follow the instructions.
It is not yet known when this innovation will appear in Gmail for iOS.
