Germany has introduced a new financial aid program for refugees from Ukraine, with total payments reaching up to 9,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH), referring to the German Jobcenter.

Who can receive additional payments

Financial aid is available to all Ukrainians who lost their home because of the war. The initiative aims to support refugees in their job search and skill development. Job centers will provide extra 150 euros along with participation in qualification courses.

If Ukrainian citizens engage in job search programs, they will receive additional 75 euros, totaling 225 euros (approximately 9,000 UAH). Ukrainians in Germany can also pursue professional education with financial aid. The goal is to ensure a decent standard of living and the opportunity to improve professional qualifications and obtain secondary education within three years.

Additionally, the United Kingdom will allocate 150 million pounds to support refugees from Ukraine.
