Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 20: Aircraft, 750 occupiers, and 20 artillery systems
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Saturday morning, April 20, amounted to 750 occupiers per day, with a total of 458,580 Russian military personnel lost since the invasion began. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 21 combat armoured vehicles (BAV), 20 artillery systems, and 30 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the adversary from February 24, 2022, to April 20, 2024, are estimated as follows:
- Personnel - 458,580 (+750) individuals eliminated;
- Tanks - 7,213 (+8) units;
- Combat armored vehicles - 13,873 (+21) units;
- Artillery systems - 11,678 (+20) units;
- MLRS - 1,046 units;
- Air defense systems - 763 (+1) units;
- Aircraft - 348 (+1) units;
- Helicopters - 325 units;
- Tactical UAVs - 9,341 (+30) units;
- Cruise missiles - 2,109 units (+13);
- Ships/boats - 26 units;
- Submarines - 1 unit;
- Motor vehicles and tank trucks - 15,717 (+46) units;
- Specialized equipment - 1,918 (+3) units.
In the past day, Ukraine recorded 102 combat clashes on the front line. The enemy actively stormed the positions of defenders on two fronts in the Donetsk region.
During the night of April 20, an explosion occurred in Zaporizhzhia. In the morning, the enemy attacked Odesa with rockets.
