The first presentation of Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is just around the corner, and most people can already guess what Samsung is going to present at this event. The long-awaited Galaxy S25 series will obviously be the main event, but that's not all Samsung will announce on this day, reports Android Authority.

Samsung will hold the first presentation of Galaxy Unpacked 2025 in San Jose on January 22. The event and live streaming will start at 13:00 Eastern Time (20:00 Kyiv time).
The company will broadcast Galaxy Unpacked live on Samsung.com, in the Samsung news section, and on the Samsung channel on YouTube.
What can be presented at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025
Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra
Samsung will likely open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on the same day as Unpacked 2025. Deliveries of the phones to those who have pre-ordered them should start sometime in early February.
The new flagships are expected to feature improved aesthetics and subtle design changes. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are likely to retain their flat profile, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have to be distinguished by more pronounced curves. The phones are expected to be available in several color options, some of which may be exclusive.
The entire Galaxy S25 series is predicted to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, despite initial rumors of Exynos variants.
Photography enthusiasts can expect various camera improvements, mainly thanks to the processor upgrade and new AI features. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to have a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS for 5x optical zoom.
All three models can be equipped with bright 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED displays.
The Galaxy S25 series will be introduced with One UI 7, Samsung's latest user interface built on top of Android 15.
The leaks also suggest that Gemini will play a much more important role in the Galaxy S25 series. Users can expect the interaction with the AI assistant to become smoother and more natural.
In addition, everyone expects to see a host of new AI-powered features to improve productivity, accessibility, and photography. Some of these new options may even be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series at launch.

One UI 7 release and availability details
The Galaxy S25 series will be released with a stable version of One UI 7. Samsung's software based on Android 15 has already passed several stages of beta testing, but users have been waiting a long time to get their hands on a stable version.
We also hope that the company will publish an update schedule for older Galaxy flagships. It's highly likely that Galaxy S24 users who participated in the One UI 7 beta will receive the stable version shortly after Unpacked, perhaps even on the same day.
Previous rumors suggested that Samsung would update most of its latest flagship phones to One UI 7 by the end of February.

Galaxy Ring 2 and Project Moohan XR glasses
Samsung is 99.9 percent likely not to unveil the next Galaxy Ring or its new Project Moohan augmented reality glasses at Unpacked 2025. But that's not stopping the company from giving us all a sneak peek at upcoming devices.
The company is expected to unveil a few surprises at the end of the show, concerning both the Galaxy Ring 2 and Project Moohan glasses. Ultimately, this is a great opportunity for Samsung to create excitement and fuel interest.

Galaxy S25 Slim
Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim have surfaced recently, showcasing its ultra-thin design. Although leaks about this new phone are appearing more and more frequently, Samsung may not present it at Unpacked. The company is supposed to save the Galaxy S25 Slim launch for later this year.
Again, we may see a teaser at Unpacked 2025, but a full announcement should be expected only in the coming months, possibly in late spring or early summer 2025.
