Galaxy S25: Samsung officially unveils 3 new generation flagships
At its latest Unpacked 2025 presentation on January 22, Samsung announced three new flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S25 series: the base model, the improved Plus version, and the advanced Ultra with top features.

Design and construction
Galaxy S25 has a stylish and compact design with dimensions of 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2 mm and a lightweight body. The smartphone features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, as well as an Armor Aluminum 2 frame for added durability.
The device is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Galaxy S25 is available in the following colors: ice blue, mint, navy blue, and silver shade "Silver Shadow". The smartphone combines elegance and reliability.

Display
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 with an impressive 6.2-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, which provides vivid colors and smooth scrolling. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which makes it resistant to everyday damage.

Performance and platform
Galaxy S25 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) chipset with an octa-core processor, including 2 cores at 4.47 GHz (Oryon V2 Phoenix L) and 6 cores at 3.53 GHz (Oryon V2 Phoenix M). The Adreno 830 GPU provides excellent performance for gaming and multitasking.
The smartphone runs on Android 15 with Samsung One UI 7 shell, providing the user with up to seven major Android updates, making the device relevant for many years to come.
Storage and memory
The smartphone is available in three versions of internal memory: 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. All versions are equipped with 12 GB of RAM and use UFS 4.0 technology for fast data access. Unfortunately, there is no support for expandable storage via microSD cards.
Cameras
Galaxy S25 is equipped with a universal system of three cameras on the back:
- A 50MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, dual-pixel PDAF, and optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp and stable images
- 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS for capturing distant subjects
- 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, ideal for group photos and landscapes
Video recording features include 8K recording at 24/30fps, 4K recording at 30/60fps, HDR10+ support, stereo sound recording, and gyro-EIS stabilization.
The 12MP front camera is equipped with dual-pixel PDAF and HDR10+ support and is capable of recording 4K video at 30/60 frames per second.
Battery and charging
Galaxy S25 is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery with support:
- 25W wired charging (up to 50 percent charge in 30 minutes)
- 15W wireless charging using the Qi2 standard
- 4.5W reverse wireless charging for charging compatible accessories
Communication and features
The smartphone supports:
- Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2 with DisplayPort 1.2
- Geolocation services GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS for accurate tracking

Galaxy S25+ has an elegant and durable design. The body is made of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back panels, complemented by a frame made of durable Armor Aluminum 2.
The smartphone is protected against dust and water according to the IP68 standard, withstanding immersion to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Samsung offers several premium color schemes: Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow.

The Galaxy S25+ features a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen that delivers an incredibly smooth display thanks to a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The screen resolution is 1440 x 3120 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, which provides a crisp picture with a density of approximately 513 ppi.
The brightness of the display reaches a peak of 2600 nits, which guarantees excellent visibility even in bright light. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the screen is highly reliable and durable.
