Since April 17 morning, there have been 114 combat clashes on the front - Russian forces continue to push along the Pokrovsk axis, according to Ukraine’s General Staff on Facebook.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, Russian forces launched one missile and 60 airstrikes since the start of April 17, using three missiles and 60 guided bombs. They also deployed 1,086 kamikaze drones and carried out over 5,000 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas.

On the Kupiansk direction, five Russian assaults took place near Petropavlivka, Synkivka, and Zahryzove. One clash is still ongoing. Kupiansk was hit by airstrikes.

On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 assaults near Novovodyane, Nadiia, Nove, Novomykhailivka, Yampolivka, and in the direction of Hrekivka and Hryhorivka. Two engagements are still underway.

On the Siversk direction, Russian forces attacked twice near Bilohorivka and toward Verkhnokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks near Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and toward Stupochky. Three battles are still in progress.

In the Toretsk area, ten combat clashes were reported today as Russian troops attempted to advance near Toretsk, Ozarianivka, and Druzhba.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces launched 54 assaults on settlements, including Sukha Balka, Stara Mykolaivka, Zelene Pole, Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, and Andriivka. Ukrainian troops repelled 48 of them, with six more still ongoing.

Preliminary figures indicate 703 Russian troops were eliminated in this direction, including 480 confirmed killed. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 26 armored fighting vehicles, two artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 13 vehicles, ten drones, three UAV control points, three electronic warfare stations, four ammunition depots, and 170 pieces of motorized equipment. Damage was also inflicted on four artillery systems, two tanks, one air defense unit, three motorcycles, and one vehicle.

On the Novopavlivka direction, six Russian attacks were repelled near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Pryvilne.

In the Orikhiv direction, one Russian assault was repelled near Mala Tokmachka.

No active offensive actions were recorded on the Kharkiv, Hulyaipole, or Prydniprovskyi directions.

In Russia’s Kursk region, thirteen combat clashes with Russian forces were reported, with two still ongoing. Russia launched 12 airstrikes, dropped 19 guided bombs, and carried out 316 artillery attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian losses

According to the General Staff, Russia has lost over 937,000 troops since the full-scale invasion began. In the past 24 hours alone, Russian forces lost 1,230 soldiers. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 16 tanks, 54 armored vehicles, 65 artillery systems, 88 drones, and other equipment.
