Good results have been achieved over the year in supplying units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Going forward, these efforts will be further strengthened, along with comprehensive resistance to the Russian forces, according to a statement by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
The country’s leader spoke about the results of a report by Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. It concerned decisions needed to strengthen frontline positions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Over the past year, good results have already been achieved in supplying brigades and corps. In particular, a program of direct financial support for combat units is in operation, simplifying procurement and frontline supply. A program for the fair distribution of personnel among brigades is also in the process of being implemented," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that he is currently awaiting the first detailed reports on this program for December.
He emphasized that the strengthening of the Armed Forces’ combat units, as well as comprehensive counteraction to the enemy, will continue. This includes the enhancement of the drone component.
Zelenskyy added that the relevant issues are already being prepared for discussion at the Headquarters in the near future.
In addition, he said that he has signed decrees awarding Ukrainian defenders with state honors.
New principles for distributing recruits
Pavlo Palisa recently stated that recruits will be assigned to combat brigades under new principles.
According to him, from the very first day, they will know which unit they will serve in, under whose command, who they will train with, and with whom they will go on missions.
