French parliamentary elections: Second round results announced

The second round of elections to the National Assembly has ended in France. The presidential coalition Together won 168 seats in the parliament, Le Monde reports.
According to the results of the second round:
- New Popular Front took first place and received 182 seats in the parliament;
- Ensemble - 168 seats;
- National Rally - 143 seats;
- The Republicans - 63 seats.

The French parliament has 577 seats in total. The remaining seats will be distributed among other candidates.
Parliamentary elections in France
Following the European Parliament elections and the victory of the National Rally, French President Emmanuel Macron dissolved the National Assembly and called early parliamentary elections.
In the first round, the National Rally party won again, and the presidential coalition Together - in the third.
The second round of elections was held yesterday, July 7.
