Russia attacked a border village in the Chernihiv region, wounding a postal worker, according to the Telegram channel of Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

Russian forces attacked the border village of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community in the Chernihiv region using an FPV drone.

As a result of the strike, a 49-year-old postal worker from the Sumy region sustained shrapnel wounds. At the time of the attack, he was delivering mail.

The man was hospitalized, and his vehicle was damaged. The attack was carried out from Russian territory.

Over the past 24 hours, the aggressor launched 28 attacks on 15 settlements in the Chernihiv region. Russian forces used artillery, mortars, kamikaze drones, and FPV drones.

As a result of the strikes, residential houses, an administrative building, and outbuildings were damaged or destroyed in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities.

Attack on Ukraine

Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. Eleven people were injured in the attack, including two children.

Additionally, in the early hours of July 5, Russia attacked Ukraine with combat drones. In the Kyiv region, enemy drones damaged a school, residential buildings, and vehicles.
