On one front, fighters from the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment Achilles destroyed a Russian T-90M Proryv tank using FPV drones. The report comes from the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to the unit, drone operators first immobilized the tank and then delivered a follow-up strike, leading to its complete destruction.
The T-90M tank was introduced into Russian service in 2020, with each unit valued at around $4.5 million.
In addition, precise strikes by the Achilles regiment disabled another enemy armored vehicle, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher, a Tiger armored vehicle, and a KAMAZ truck.
The use of FPV drones remains one of the most effective ways to combat the occupiers' heavy equipment.
Other operations by the Unmanned Systems Forces
On July 17, operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck an enemy Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system and its crew, resulting in the system's complete destruction.
The Unmanned Systems Forces continue to play a key role in destroying Russian invaders in Ukraine.
