Foreign Minister calls on partners to provide Ukraine with air defense to intercept new Russian missiles

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called on partners to provide Ukraine with air defense systems. The new systems could protect Ukraine from Russia's advanced missiles.
“Russia's use of a ballistic missile is a typical blackmail,” Sybiha emphasized.
He explained that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is trying to scare everyone away from supporting Ukraine.
“Ukraine's partners should do the opposite: reject blackmail, increase support, and strengthen Ukraine's air shield with systems capable of intercepting such missiles,” the Foreign Minister explained.
Russia's use of a new type of missile
On November 21, Russian troops conducted another missile attack on Dnipro. This time, however, they used a new ballistic missile, the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missile and seven Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the attack. The European Union once again strongly condemned the attack, noting that Russia continues to play a dangerous game with nuclear rhetoric.
