The Florida Strawberry Festival will celebrate its 90th anniversary on February 27-March 9, 2025, in Plant City, Florida, with the theme "The Stage Is Set!" to usher in a new age of entertainment. According to the official announcement, the festival will unveil a new sound stage to complement live shows and feature top musical artists.
The Florida Strawberry Festival began in 1930 as a way to promote the strawberry harvest of Eastern Hillsborough County and support the local agricultural community. Over the decades, it has grown into one of Florida’s most beloved events, attracting over 600,000 visitors annually. The festival has evolved from a small agricultural fair into a major cultural celebration, blending tradition with modern entertainment while remaining dedicated to its agricultural roots.

New era of entertainment
This year’s festival will replace its 35-year-old soundstage with a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide attendees with a better concert experience. Festival President Kyle Robinson said, “We’re bringing the best artists to Plant City,” underscoring the festival’s commitment to blending top-notch entertainment with its rich agricultural heritage. The new soundstage reflects the festival’s evolution, catering to modern audiences while maintaining its community-focused spirit.
