Five drones flew into Moldova after Russia's attack on Ukraine

Five drones of unknown origin violated Moldova's airspace overnight on August 27 after Russia's massive attack on Ukraine had ended, reports Newsmaker.
Journalists received information about the drones' incursion into Moldovan territory from the country's Ministry of Defense.
The first drone crossed the state border from Ukraine at 03:56 a.m. near the settlement of Biliaivka. It then flew toward Palanca in the Ștefan Vodă district. A little later, the UAV left Moldova's airspace and returned toward Ukraine.
As for the second drone, it entered from the direction of the Ukrainian village of Starokozache. At 03:59 a.m., it flew over the village of Căplani, and at 04:10 a.m. it disappeared from monitoring systems near the village of Caragașani in the Ștefan Vodă district.
"The third UAV crossed the state border from Ukraine at 04:09 a.m. and flew along the route Palanca - Crocmaz - Olănești - Purcari - Răscăieți. At 04:24 a.m., the drone disappeared from radar near the city of Pervomaisc in Moldova's Transnistrian region," the outlet reports.
As Moldova's Defense Ministry clarified, another drone violated the country's airspace at 04:16 a.m. in the direction of Palanca, after which it returned to Ukraine toward the village of Maiaky.
"Meanwhile, at 05:50 .m., near the Săiți (Moldova) - Lisne (Ukraine) border crossing, on the border between Moldova's Căușeni district and Ukraine, a drone crossed the airspace of both countries. At 06:02 a.m., it headed toward Lisne and left Moldova's airspace," the media outlet writes.
All of this happened after Russia's aerial attacks on Ukraine had ended.
Moldova's Defense Ministry also clarified that allies helped them track the drones.
Earlier, it became known how many enemy targets Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize this time.
