First round of presidential elections completed in Finland
Today, on January 28, the first round of the presidential election in Finland has ended, according to Yle.
According to the voting results, Alexander Stubb was the leader with 28.3% of the vote. Pekka Haavisto came in second with 25.8%.
Jussi Halla-aho is in third place with 16.1%, and Olli Rehn is in fourth place with 15.5%.
However, the vote count is still ongoing and things can still change.
What is known about the leaders of the vote
Currently, the leader is the former Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb, who is now a professor and director of the European University Institute in Florence and held several ministerial positions before becoming prime minister in 2014-2015.
Former Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto is now in second place with a narrow margin.
