In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, a fire broke out in one of the apartments of a multi-story building. Several people were evacuated, according to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
According to the State Emergency Service, on September 23, at 19:21, a report was received about a fire in a 16-story residential building. It was determined on the scene that the fire originated on the balcony of one of the apartments on the 6 floor.
The fire was extinguished at 19:57.
Rescuers reported that during the firefighting and reconnaissance operation, 6 people were brought out from the upper floors to fresh air.
"Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries. Law enforcement agencies will establish the cause and circumstances of the fire," the State Emergency Service added.
Recently, a massive fire broke out in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, affecting a household appliance service center.
Also, it was previously reported that in August, a fire occurred in a residential building in the Pechersk district of the capital, resulting in injuries to a girl.
