On the night of June 24, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with drones. The strike caused damage, and at least one person was injured, according to the Kharkiv mayor, Ihor Terekhov, and the channel of Kharkiv regional administration head Oleh Syniehubov.

The attack on the city began around 02:10 AM Kyiv time. After that, residents heard a series of explosions. It was later confirmed that the Nemyshlianskyi district was primarily targeted.

"Preliminarily, one of the strikes occurred in a private sector near a hospital in the Nemyshlianskyi district, and windows were shattered in nearby buildings. There are no reports of injuries at this time," Terekhov wrote at 02:30 AM Kyiv time.

He later clarified that there was information about a strike on the territory of a private house.

"In the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, as a result of a Russian drone impact, window glass in a residential building was damaged," reported the head of the regional administration at 02:53 AM Kyiv time.

In addition, a civilian facility came under drone attack. According to Terekhov, a fire broke out at the site. A bit later, Syniehubov also mentioned the facility, stating that a drone had crashed on its grounds, though he made no mention of a fire.

According to the latest information, there is one injured person in the Nemyshlianskyi district. A drone was also discovered in the area, which reportedly did not detonate.

Meanwhile, another wave of attack drones is heading toward the city.

"As of now, we know of three drone strikes on the territory of a civilian facility in the Nemyshlianskyi district," Syniehubov reported at 03:27 AM Kyiv time.

Terekhov summarized the situation, reporting that Russian forces launched 7 Shahed drones at Kharkiv overnight.

"One fell without detonating, the others struck three locations, two in the private sector of the Nemyshlianskyi district and one civilian facility in the Saltivskyi district. One person was injured,” he added.

Terekhov wrote that the number of injured in Kharkiv had risen to three.
