A fire broke out near the Uraltransmash military plant. According to residents, the roof of an empty workshop is on fire. The network notes that welding was allegedly underway in the building, which caused the fire.
“There is no information about the victims yet. Three workers who were in the building evacuated on their own,” Russian media write.
Uraltransmash is a large Russian enterprise that specializes in the production of military equipment, machine tools, and tramcars. The network says that it is the only plant in Russia that produces self-propelled artillery systems.
