The respected boxing magazine The Ring has released an updated pound-for-pound ranking of the world’s top boxers, regardless of weight class. Several key changes occurred in the top 10, according to the magazine’s official website.
Usyk regains top spot
After the departure of three-division undisputed champion Terence Crawford, his presence in the pound-for-pound ranking lost its formal meaning. The American had been at the top of The Ring list, so all boxers below him moved up one spot.
As a result, undefeated Ukrainian heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk reclaimed the number one position.
