Fierce battles on Pokrovsk front: Where Russia currently attacks

The situation near Pokrovsk remains stable. At the moment, the Russians have focused their efforts on the highway between Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Spokesperson of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops Viktor Tregubov.
The spokesperson noted that Ukrainian defenders have established strong engineering fortifications near Pokrovsk. The "Drone Line" is also operating there - a project aimed at scaling up the most effective drones used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"If we move east from Pokrovsk, which is still the Pokrovsk direction, and look at the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway, the Russians are actively trying to advance toward it and attempting to cross it," Tregubov said.
According to him, Russian troops aim to cut off the highway halfway between Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka. This area consists of small settlements and fields.
Tregubov emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers are putting up resistance against the enemy.
Situation near Pokrovsk
A few days ago, Tregubov reported that Russian forces had intensified assaults near the village of Vozdvyzhenka in the Donetsk region.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russian troops' goal was to reach the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway and advance toward the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Recent reports also revealed that the intensity of battles near Pokrovsk had resumed. However, the number of enemy soldiers decreased.
