Ukrainian fashion designer André Tan shared the main color trends that will define fashion throughout the year. According to him, in 2026, the palette becomes more complex, deep, and emotional.
Andre Tan on his Instagram page explains which colors set to be the key trends of 2026.
Purple and blue denim
Plum and deep purple shades are named by the designer as some of the key colors for 2026. They look especially striking when paired with classic blue denim. This combination works well for both everyday outfits and more elegant looks, from coats and jackets to accessories.
Purple adds a sense of sophistication and depth, while denim balances it, making the pairing versatile and effortless.
Soft orange
Replacing bright, neon shades is a calm, muted orange. André Tan recommends choosing warm, sophisticated tones that pair well with beige, brown, and denim.
This shade of orange integrates easily into a basic wardrobe without looking too bold. It works for jackets, coats, knitwear, and even accessories.
Lilac shades
Lilac becomes a true all-rounder in 2026, ranging from nearly transparent pastels to rich, deep tones. The designer emphasizes that this color adds softness, lightness, and elegance to any outfit.
Lilac shades work well in minimalist looks as well as in more romantic or urban styles.
Dusty pink
Pink remains fashionable but takes on a new character. This season, it becomes more restrained, mature, and sophisticated. Dusty pink shades look great paired with boho styles, lightweight fabrics, and summer dresses.
This color is equally suitable for evening outfits and everyday ensembles.
Turquoise and Tiffany shades
André recommends using turquoise, mint, and light blue for accents. They are perfect for accessories, lightweight fabrics, and summer looks, adding freshness and a sense of airiness.
These colors can refresh even the simplest outfit and work beautifully in the warmer months.
Beige, brown, and red
Classic shades remain in fashion but return in new combinations. Tan advises pairing beige and brown with brighter accents such as mint, orange, or turquoise.
Red in 2026 becomes deeper and more restrained, yet it retains its character and strength.
Color blocking
Another trend highlighted by Tan is the return of color blocking. Bold, fully colored outfits, daring combinations, and playful shade contrasts are back in style.
The designer encourages experimentation, creating bright and expressive looks by combining several trending colors in one outfit.
