Mick Jagger's reaction
It is worth noting that Faithfull once dated the British musician, actor, producer and vocalist of The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger. It was between 1966 and 1970 after Jagger broke up with model and actress Chrissy Shrimpton.
He has already reacted to the death of his ex-lover online.
"She was a big part of my life for a long time. She was a wonderful friend, a beautiful singer and a great actress. She will be greatly missed," the musician wrote and showed archival photos with the singer.

How Marianne Faithfull became famous
Faithfull became popular in the 1960s after the release of her hit song As Tears Go By, when she was 18 years old. This song was written by members of The Rolling Stones: frontman Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, and their producer Andrew Oldham.
The song quickly became a hit and took 9th place in the UK singles chart for 1964.

In 1965, she released her self-titled debut album, which included her single, as well as the hit Come And Stay With Me, and the album Come My Way, which consisted mostly of folk covers.
Faithfull also inspired Jagger to create such Rolling Stones hits as Wild Horses and You Can't Always Get What You Want.
In addition, the girl acted in movies. Her most famous role is in the erotic melodrama The Girl On A Motorcycle (1968), where she played with Alain Delon. The girl appeared on the screen in a rather extravagant image at that time - in a tight black leather suit on a naked body.

Drugs and personal life
Despite the fact that Faithfull's popularity began to grow rapidly, she was not happy in her personal life and even used drugs.
Faithfull had three miscarriages and four abortions. In the sixties and seventies, she struggled with heroin addiction, and in 1968 she suffered a miscarriage from Mick Jagger.
In the 1970s, the actress was even homeless for a while, sleeping on the streets in the Soho neighborhood of central London.
She also gave birth to a son, Nicholas, from gallery owner John Dunbar, but lost custody of him due to her addiction.
A few years later, she overcame her addiction and returned to the stage, and in 1979 she even received a Grammy nomination.
In recent years, the actress's health has been severely compromised by chronic illnesses. As a result of smoking, she had pulmonary emphysema, and she also suffered from bulimia at one time. In 2006, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
However, Marianne Faithfull has no regrets in her life: "I've lived the life of an adventurer - it's been wonderful."
