Occupied Crimea came under a series of drone and missile attacks on the evening of December 13, with explosions reported across the peninsula for about two hours, according to Russian media.

According to eyewitnesses and local Telegram channels, Crimea is experiencing large-scale aerial attacks:

  • In Feodosia, powerful explosions were reported as unidentified drones attacked an oil depot.
  • Over the Krasnoperekopsk district and Simferopol, missiles and strike drones were seen, with locals reporting gunfire and explosions.
  • In Saki and the Saki district, several strong explosions were recorded.
  • In Simferopol's HRES district, eyewitnesses reported explosions and a fire amid drone and military aircraft activity.
  • In Gvardeyskoye and Dzhankoi districts, residents reported chaotic anti-drone fire and intense explosions.

Strikes on Crimea

In recent weeks, airstrikes on military and logistical targets have intensified. Local channels are urging eyewitnesses to submit photos and videos from the sites to verify the situation.

The heaviest strikes have targeted Feodosia, Saki, Krasnoperekopsk, and Simferopol.

Strategic strikes on Russian military targets

Ukrainian intelligence reportedly destroyed a Russian An-26 military transport aircraft and two other high-value targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Recently, HUR strike drones carried out a series of precision attacks in the region, destroying several radar systems and a Russian naval helicopter.

On the night of November 1-2, HUR struck the Russian command post of an S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile division stationed at a combat position and a Russian multifunctional 92N6E radar in Crimea.

Earlier, on November 1, powerful explosions were reported in the Moscow region, as HUR successfully destroyed three lines of the strategic Ring (Koltsevaya) oil pipeline.
