In the night of September 4, explosions were heard in Odesa. The city is currently under attack by Russian drones, according to Odesa mayor Hennadii Trukhanov and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Explosions can be heard in the city," Odesa mayor Hennadii Trukhanov wrote at 01:43 AM Kyiv time.

Earlier, Trukhanov had reported a threat of attack drones for the city. The military also warned that several groups of drones had been detected over the Black Sea, heading toward Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Shortly before the explosions, the air force of the armed forces of Ukraine specified that the drones were moving toward Odesa and Chornomorsk.

As of 01:51 AM Kyiv time, the air raid alert map showed the following: the alert was in effect in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
