Explosions heard in temporarily occupied Mariupol
Residents of the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, hear explosions, according to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko.
According to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, the sounds of explosions can be heard in all districts of the city.
"Mariupol. It's loud. All districts of the city. We are finding out the details," Andriushchenko writes.
Situation in Mariupol
Russian troops seized Mariupol in February 2022, at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since then, the city has become an important transit point for Russian troops, through which they transport weapons, equipment, and soldiers to the front line.
According to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, Russians have started recruiting people for the war against Ukraine in Mariupol hospitals.
