Explosion reported at plant near Izhevsk, Russians assure situation under control
A powerful explosion occurred at the Votkinsk plant located near Izhevsk in Russia. Following the explosion, a severe fire broke out, according to the Telegram channel Baza.
The propagandist channel claimed that the explosion was supposedly related to rocket engine tests and occurred "at the test site."
Meanwhile, representatives of the Votkinsk plant informed the local Emergencies Ministry about "some tests."
At the same time, local residents are posting videos showing a huge fire after the explosion.
The Votkinsk plant is a Russian manufacturer of firearms and military equipment. The plant also produces Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles Topol-M, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, and Iskander-M missiles used to shell Ukraine.
Explosions in Belgorod
It should be noted that explosions on Russian territory are becoming increasingly frequent. Occupiers often complain about drone attacks or missile strikes. In such shelling, the enemy accuses Ukrainian soldiers.
In particular, today, February 7, explosions were heard in Belgorod. Afterward, a fire broke out at the reinforced concrete structures plant.
