"It is crucial that everyone understands the necessity of relocating to safer areas. Together, we must help our people," he explained.
The head of the administration also noted that evacuees have been provided with the following:
- temporary housing reserves;
- hot meals;
- food and hygiene kits;
- warm clothing for those evacuated;
- support and assistance.
Evacuation in Kupiansk area
As mentioned earlier, amid the intensified shelling, civilians in the Kupiansk district are being evacuated. In mid-August of this year, a mandatory evacuation of children from settlements near the combat zone was announced. At that time, Syniehubov said that the Kharkiv regional authorities could evacuate around 12,000 Ukrainians.
