Eurovision 2025: Which Swiss city will host song contest

The Eurovision Song Contest this year concluded with Swiss artist Nemo taking the victory, but the organizing committee and the Swiss authorities faced a lengthy decision-making process in choosing the host city for the 2025 show. Eventually, they settled on the city of Basel, according to the official Eurovision website.

Four cities competed for the right to host Eurovision: Geneva, Zurich, Basel, and Bern-Biel.
In the final decision, the choice was narrowed down to Geneva and Basel.
Interestingly, Biel, Nemo's hometown, put forward the most modest financial bid to host the show. However, the city strongly advocated for holding the contest there, using the artist's 2024 Eurovision victory as a key argument.
