Eurovision 2025: Odd changes and Ukraine's place after semifinal

After the first semifinal of Eurovision 2025, the bookmakers' odds have shifted somewhat. The initial emotional reactions to the participants' performances led to adjustments in predictions, and now fans eagerly await the results of the next stages. RBC-Ukraine, referencing the Eurovision World website, reports on which place Ukraine is after debuting on the stage of this year’s show.
Sweden is still holding the leading position, but after the first semifinal, bookmakers began to believe more strongly in the victory of the band KAJ. Sweden’s chances of winning are currently estimated at 42%.
Austria, according to the bookmakers, has every chance of taking second place, but there’s a caveat—the country has not yet presented its competition performance, so the situation may change.
The same applies to France, which is predicted to possibly land in third place, but we’ll see how it performs in the second semifinal.
Unfortunately, Ukraine has dropped to 13th place, although before the semifinal the odds for Ziferblat were somewhat higher.
However, these are only bookmaker predictions, and the real situation on stage could drastically alter the outcome.

Another interesting trend is the high placement forecasts for Belgium and Cyprus, but these countries failed to receive enough votes to qualify for the final and will not return to the stage on May 17.
By the way, the second semifinal of Eurovision will be broadcast on May 15. The live show starts at 10:00 PM Kyiv time.
