Eurovision 2025: New bookmaker forecast and Ukraine's position ahead of Grand Ffinal

On May 15, the second semifinal of Eurovision 2025 took place in Basel, Switzerland. Following the event, bookmakers quickly updated their predictions. Some countries strengthened their positions, while others dropped significantly in the rankings. RBC-Ukraine, citing Eurovisionworld, reports on how the betting table has changed and what place is currently predicted for Ukraine.
Changes in the odds table
There has been a noticeable reshuffling in the overall betting rankings. Here's the current situation:
Sweden remains the main favorite. Sweden's representatives, KAJ, with the song "Bara bada bastu", are still the leader with a 41% chance of winning.
Austria follows with JJ and the song "Wasted Love". They hold a solid second place with 21%.
France (Louane - "Maman") stays in the top three with an 8% chance of winning.
The Netherlands, represented by Claude ("C’est La Vie"), is in fourth place with 6%.
Finland, with Erika Vikman, has climbed one spot to take fifth place.
Israel, with Yuval Raphael, has fallen to sixth place. Switzerland has also dropped from seventh to eighth.
The United Kingdom made a dramatic leap, climbing 11 spots to 11th place with Remember Monday and their song "What If."
What is forecast for Ukraine?
Ukraine's representatives, Ziferblat, with their song "Bird of Pray", are currently in 13th place. Their chances of winning are estimated at only 1%.
In the overall odds table, Ukraine's position appears shaky, with betting odds ranging from 100 to 300 depending on the bookmaker.
That means viewers and experts don't consider Ziferblat’s performance a clear contender for the win, even after the second semifinal.

The final, on Saturday, May 17, could still bring changes. However, Sweden and Austria remain the top favorites, while Ukraine stays in the background.
