Estonia to provide Ukraine with 100 million euros in military aid

Ukraine has officially submitted to Estonia a list of military aid worth 100 million euros, including drones, watercraft, and medical equipment. Contracts for the procurement of the products are already being prepared for signing, according to the Ministry of Defense of Estonia.
On March 21, Ukraine officially submitted to Estonia a list of military aid requests, consisting of products from Estonian defense companies worth 100 million euros.
The selection includes drones, unmanned ground vehicles, watercraft, medical equipment, and other materials offered by Estonian manufacturers. The quantity and delivery timeline for this aid remain confidential.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur emphasized that Estonia is committed to supporting Ukraine with 0.25% of its GDP annually for military needs, including the procurement of products from local defense companies.
According to him, feedback from Ukraine enables the effective and swift delivery of necessary materials.
"I am very pleased with the high level of Estonia's defense industry and the wide range of products. The next step will be for the National Defense Investment Center to quickly finalize contracts for the procurement of selected Ukrainian products to ensure timely delivery," said Katrin Raudsepp, head of the Expert Committee for Ukraine Support Measures.
Estonia will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine, including military training and the development of an IT coalition to support Ukraine, alongside Luxembourg.
In addition, the Baltic and Nordic countries are working on equipping and training a Ukrainian brigade by 2025.
Estonian military aid to Ukraine
Estonia has consistently supplied Ukraine with military aid in its war against Russia following the large-scale invasion.
Estonia announced a new military aid package for Ukraine on February 22.
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal reported that to strengthen Ukraine's positions and increase pressure on Russia, Estonia has sent 10,000 artillery shells and 750,000 food rations for Ukrainian fighters.
