Elon Musk will remain an adviser to US President Donald Trump even after he leaves his post as head of DOGE, reports Reuters, citing US Vice President JD Vance.

Vance said that even after Musk leaves his post at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), he will remain an adviser to US President Donald Trump.

“DOGE has got a lot of work to do, and yeah, that work is going to continue after Elon leaves. But fundamentally, Elon is going to remain a friend and an adviser of both me and the president,” he said.

Musk may resign as head of DOGE

Yesterday, Politico wrote that US President Donald Trump told his aides and ministers about Musk's resignation, which is supposed to happen soon.
