American billionaire Elon Musk has once again criticized President Donald Trump’s budget bill, warning that if Congress approves it, he will create a new political movement, according to a post on Musk’s X page.

In his comment, the businessman urged Congress not to approve the president’s tax and spending bill.

“Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame! And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” Musk wrote.

Later, the entrepreneur posted another message stating that if the crazy spending bill is passed, he will launch a new political party called the America Party.

Trump’s bill and the conflict with Musk

Elon Musk has been vocal in his opposition to the Republican tax and spending bill, calling it “debt slavery.” He warns that the legislation will significantly increase the US national debt.

According to estimates from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Senate bill will add nearly $3.3 trillion to the budget deficit over the next ten years. By comparison, a previously passed bill projected a $2.4 trillion increase over the same period.

Despite this, Republican senators informally dubbed Trump’s initiative the Great, Beautiful Bill during discussions.

Musk’s criticism of the bill in early June sparked a fierce public clash between the entrepreneur and the president.

In early June, Elon Musk criticized President Trump’s tax and budget bill, calling it disgusting. In response, Trump expressed his disappointment with Musk, suggesting he suffers from Trump syndrome and labeled the entrepreneur crazy.

Musk, who had invested hundreds of millions of dollars supporting Trump’s election campaign on social media, accused the president of ingratitude, emphasizing that without his financial backing, Trump would not have become president.

At the height of the conflict, Trump publicly declared that the most effective way to cut government spending would be to end the government’s cooperation with Musk’s companies.

On June 11, Elon Musk partially softened his tone, admitting that he had exaggerated his critical public statements about the president.

By June 12, media outlets reported that the businessman had eased his criticism of President Trump following a series of high-level phone calls.
