Earthquake occurred near Zmiinyi Island
Experts from the Main Center for Special Monitoring have observed an earthquake in the Black Sea near Zmiinyi Island, according to the main center for special monitoring.
The earthquake occurred around 7 p.m. Experts from the center assessed it as weak and assigned a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale.
According to employees, the vibrations may be felt by residents on upper floors inside buildings.
"The epicenter of the earthquake is located in the Black Sea, 17 km south of Snake Island, at a depth of 5 km. According to earthquake classification, it is classified as barely perceptible. The vibrations are only felt by individuals who are in a calm state inside buildings, especially on upper floors," the center wrote.
