On August 15, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale occurred in the Zakarpattia region, 23 km east of Uzhhorod, Ukraine, reported the Main Center for Special Control.

Yesterday, August 15, at 16:43 an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 occurred, with its epicenter located 23 km east of Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia region, at a depth of 3 km.

According to the classification of earthquakes, this one has been classified as a subtle earthquake. The vibrations can only be felt by individuals who are in a calm state indoors, especially on higher floors.

The earthquake poses no threat to the population or critical infrastructure.
