During the night, Russians heard drones in four regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported "interceptions" of drones.

During the preparation of the material, Telegram channels of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as those of the governors of Rostov region Vasily Golubev, Volgograd region Andrey Bocharov, Kursk region Roman Starovoit, and Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, were used.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, supposedly, 47 drones were destroyed in four regions overnight.

Rostov region

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the interception and destruction of 41 drones.

The governor of the region, Vasily Golubev, announced on his Telegram channel about the "repulsion of a mass drone attack."

"Our air defense forces in Taganrog repelled a mass drone attack. The consequences on the ground are being clarified," Golubev reported.

As a result of the raid on Taganrog, the Beriev Aircraft Company could have been affected.

Later, Golubev reported another drone attack. There is one casualty.

"Our air defense units repelled another attack in the sky over the Rostov region. Several drones were destroyed on approach to Morozovsk. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties from the mass UAV attack on Taganrog. An Emergency Situations Ministry employee, who participated in clearing the aftermath on the ground, was injured. His life is not in danger."

Volgograd region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the "interception" of 3 drones. Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov did not comment on the situation.

Kursk region

In the Kursk region overnight on March 9, supposedly, air defense forces shot down 2 drones. Missile danger was declared in the region.

It was reported that up to four explosions were heard in Kursk. Governor Roman Starovoit announced the supposedly shot-down drone.

"In the sky over Kursk, air defense forces allegedly shot down a drone. The consequences on the ground are being clarified," Starovoit reported.

Later, the governor wrote about the aftermath.

"In Kursk, debris from the allegedly shot down Ukrainian UAV fell on the roof of the 6th polyclinic on Soyuzna Street, damaging 22 square meters of roofing. There were no casualties," Starovoit wrote.

Belgorod region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported one "shot down" drone. Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov did not comment on the situation.
