In Bryansk, Russia, unknown UAVs attacked the Kremniy EL plant. This is not the first this military facility has been targeted, Head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, reports.
According to Kovalenko, Kremniy EL produces microelectronics for:
- missile systems;
- Pantsir surface-to-air missile systems;
- Iskander missiles;
- radar stations;
- electronic warfare systems;
- UAVs.
The Head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation recalled that this is not the first attack against the plant. Previously, the Kremniy EL plant had already suspended operations because of this.
Strikes on Russian territory
During the full-scale war, Ukraine regularly carries out strikes on targets within Russian territory, using drones and other means. The main targets are military facilities, oil refineries, ammunition depots, and infrastructure that supports Russian military operations.
The attacks aim to weaken the enemy's logistics, reduce its ability to conduct hostilities, and inflict economic damage.
In the case of Kremniy EL - the plant was also targeted during the night of January 24, as a result of which it suspended operations. But that was far from the first attack. For example, Kremniy EL also came under shelling in October 2024.
