More than 85% of all enemy targets on the frontline are currently being struck by drones, stated Presidential Adviser for Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin at the 3rd International Defense Industries Forum (DFNC3), Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Last year, Ukraine produced over 2.2 million drones. As of now, more than 85% of all targets on the frontline are hit by drones," Kamyshin said.

He also quoted President Volodymyr Zelensky as saying that Ukrainian long-range strike drones have set Russia on fire and helped bring the war to enemy territory.

The presidential adviser stressed that Russia now poses a hybrid warfare threat across Europe, and "so far only two countries on the continent know how to work effectively with drones" — Ukraine and Russia.

"Believe me, Russia could one day carry out a large-scale drone attack on Europe. We must be ready before that moment," Kamyshin added.

Ukrainian engineers are developing new strike drones designed to hunt Shaheds. These drones operate like air-defense missiles — they detonate near enemy targets and strike them with shrapnel.

President Zelenskyy has also said that Ukraine plans to produce hundreds of thousands of interceptor drones this year.
