Drones attacked the Tambov region on December 25. An important defense enterprise of Russia, the Michurinsky Plant Progress, came under attack, the ASTRA Telegram channel reports.
Thus, residents claim that drones damaged the Michurinsky Plant Progress JSC.
The company produces high-tech equipment for aircraft and missile control systems, as well as a wide range of civilian electrical equipment, and equipment for gas and oil pipelines.
Fire at boiler house of Transnefteprodukt LLC
In addition, a boiler house of Transnefteprodukt LLC caught fire due to a drone attack.
The fire occurred after four drones fell in the morning on the territory of the linear control room of Transnefteprodukt's production station in the village of Novonikilskoye, Tambov region.
Not the first attack on Russia's refineries
Previously, drones have attacked important factories in Russia related to production for the Russian military-industrial complex. On October 20, the Security Service of Ukraine's drones and the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit Russia's largest explosives plant. The Sverdlov plant, located in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, 900 km from the border with Ukraine, is an integral part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
