Drones reportedly targeted the Druzhba oil pumping station in Bryansk region. Allegedly, several UAVs were shot down, according to the Telegram channel SHOT.

Explosive-laden drones attacked the Desna oil pumping station (OPS) operated by Transneft-Druzhba in Bryansk. According to SHOT, four drones were allegedly destroyed by air defense systems, while an explosive device was removed from one surviving UAV and subsequently neutralized.

Additionally, according to the Telegram channel, a swarm of drones carrying up to 3 kg of explosives was allegedly destroyed during an earlier attack on the Desna OPS.

"Two of the downed drones fell within the facility’s territory. An explosive device was extracted from one and neutralized outside the OPS. Two transformer substations sustained damage: one to the building itself and another involving broken windows," the report stated, adding that no casualties were reported.

Consequences of the attack

Following the drone attack, shrapnel damaged a private car, a Lada Granta, in the nearby village of Desna in the Vygonichsky District of Bryansk region. A window in one apartment was also damaged.

Drone attacks on Bryansk region

This is not the first time drones have targeted the Bryansk Region since the large-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces.

For example, in November, drones attacked Bryansk. The Russians claimed to have destroyed all targets, but a strike on an apartment building was recorded in the city.

Furthermore, Bryansk was also attacked by drones in December. At that time, a fuel depot owned by the Transneft Corporation caught fire.
