Russian drones attacked Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region on Sunday, September 14. Debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the city center, according to Nizhyn's mayor, Oleksandr Kodola, on Facebook.

"Nizhyn district is under a UAV attack. Debris from a downed Shahed fell in the city center," the post reads.

It is worth noting that an air raid alert was announced in Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region, at 08:28. The alert in Chernihiv region has been ongoing for nearly six hours.

Attack on Ukraine

On the night of September 14, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 58 drones. Air defense forces intercepted 52 enemy UAVs. Hits from the missile and six strike drones were recorded at three locations, while debris from downed drones fell at two other sites.

It is known that the Russians continued launching drones over Ukraine during the day. Enemy UAV activity was recorded in several regions.

Today, the occupiers also attacked a minibus with a drone in the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring a man.
