A strike drone attacked the Grozny City skyscraper in the Chechen capital, Grozny, at night. The strike damaged the facade of the building, reports the Moscow Times.
A powerful explosion occurred as a result of the strike. The shock wave destroyed the facade of several floors at once. According to published photos and videos, the strike was on the 28th floor.
According to cartographic services, the damaged skyscraper houses the Chechen Security Council, the Republic's Ministry of Tourism, the Accounting Chamber, the regional election commission, the regional Department of Relations with Religious and Public Organizations, the regional office of the Ministry of Justice, and others.
The building is located next to the Main Directorate of the FSB of Russia in Chechnya. Earlier, against the backdrop of the threat of drone attacks, Rosaviatsiya announced temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at airports in Grozny, Vladikavkaz, and Magas.
On November 27, Ukrainian drones flew to Chechnya. Explosions were heard on the territory of the Rosgvardia military town of Akhmat-North in Grozny.
Chechnya warned today of possible disruptions to mobile internet. On November 27, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported two attacks by Ukrainian drones — one at night, when the Russians counted 118 UAVs, and one during the day.
Explosions were also recently heard in Novokuybyshevsk, Samara region. The local oil refinery was likely the target of the drones.
After analyzing the video, the Telegram channel Astra determined that the explosions following the attack on Novokuybyshevsk occurred directly above the local oil refinery.
