Drone strike hits industrial site as rescuers reveal aftermath in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, a fire broke out at an enterprise in the Saltivskyi district of the city as a result of a Russian drone attack, injuring two people. The State Emergency Service showed footage of the aftermath of the attack.
According to the rescuers, on the evening of August 7, at about 11:55 pm (Kyiv time), Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones. The target was a civilian enterprise in the Saltivskyi district of the city.
As a result of the strike, a four-story office building caught fire. The fire engulfed the roof and technical floor structures over an area of about 500 square meters.
Two civilians were injured - a man born in 1959 and a woman born in 1962. Both suffered acute stress reactions.
Fifty rescuers and 13 pieces of equipment, including a pyrotechnic crew of the State Emergency Service, were engaged in extinguishing the fire. The fire was eliminated.

Late in the evening, on August 7, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. At that time, the city was attacked by drones.
An attack by the Shahed drone was also recorded in Shostka, Sumy region. Air defense forces shot down the enemy drones, but there was damage.
The explosions also hit the Odesa region last night. A drone attack on the Odesa district injured one person and damaged the building of a sewage pumping station. In the suburbs, dry grass caught fire due to falling debris.
In total, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed more than 80 enemy drones overnight. Most of them were Shaheds, as well as jet drones and imitators.
