In the Voronezh region, a railway station was targeted by a drone attack. Russian authorities reported that the attack caused train delays, according to the Telegram channel of Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev.

In one of the municipalities of the Voronezh region, a railway track worker was injured during a drone attack. He has been hospitalized in the district hospital.

Debris from the drone damaged a power line at the railway station, causing delays for several trains. Train service was later restored.

Residents report that the Liski railway station, located in the city of the same name in the Voronezh region, was hit, according to the Telegram channel Astra.

In the same area, a store and a market caught fire. In another municipality, a gas pipeline also ignited.

The UAV attack alert remains in effect throughout the region.

As previously reported by RBC-Ukraine, explosions were recorded in the Voronezh region of Russia on the night of August 17. Locals reported drone activity and noted the use of air defense systems. In total, six explosions were heard across the region.

RBC-Ukraine also reported a powerful explosion and large fire at a gunpowder factory in the village of Lisne, Shilovsky District, Ryazan region, Russia, with five people killed and 20 injured.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, fires and explosions have periodically occurred at Russian factories, often linked to safety violations or drone strikes.
