Drone attack hits Kyiv region, damaging homes and vehicles

On the morning of July 31, Russian forces launched a new aerial attack on the Kyiv region. However, Ukrainian air defense forces managed to prevent the worst-case scenario, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
“On the morning of July 31, Russian forces once again attacked the Kyiv region with attack drones,” the statement said.
Ukrainian air defense forces immediately opened fire on the hostile targets. As a result, they were able to protect the lives of local residents and prevent widespread destruction.
Despite this, Russian forces damaged a private home, two cars, and buildings belonging to one of the businesses in the Brovary district.
The aftermath of the Russian attack was also reported in the Vyshhorod district. There, falling debris sparked a fire in dry grass, but rescuers quickly extinguished the flames.
“Fortunately, there are no civilian casualties. All emergency services continue to work at the sites,” the Kyiv Regional Military Administration said.
Officials also noted that efforts to clear the aftermath of the Russian attack are still underway.
Meanwhile, at around 12:03 p.m., an air raid alert was declared again in the Brovary and Boryspil districts of the Kyiv region.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian forces launched drones toward Kyiv on the morning of July 31.
