Drone attack and activation of air defense systems reported in Bryansk region
The Russian Bryansk region was attacked by strike drones, with air defense systems shooting down more than a dozen attack drones, according to Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
According to him, air defense forces reportedly destroyed 12 drones during the night. The air defense units were actively engaged.
Emergency and operational services are working at the sites of the potential debris fall from the drones.
Air attacks on Russia
In recent months, various regions of Russia have been consistently targeted by strike drones. The attacks have focused on oil terminals, oil depots, and the military infrastructure of the Russian army.
During the night, strike drones also targeted the Krasnodar region, with explosions heard in the city of Yeysk. Air defense systems were operational.
On October 7, Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an oil depot in the temporarily occupied Feodosia in Crimea. Following the missile strike, a fire broke out at the site, which continues to burn.
Previously, drones had targeted warehouses belonging to the Russian army in the Krasnodar region and Tver region.
