DPRK soldiers were shown killed on Internet, Ukraine says losses are even higher
Today, the Ukrainian military released a video of what are likely to be the first DPRK soldiers killed in the war against Ukraine. But the total losses may be higher, says the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrii Kovalenko.
Today, military man Robert “Magyar” Brovdi published a drone video on his Telegram channel showing a stack of bodies of dead soldiers. Probably, they were soldiers from the DPRK who joined the battle against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region on the side of Russia.
Brovdi noted that these North Korean soldiers were eliminated as a result of the joint work of FPV drone pilots from several brigades.
More than two dozen bodies can be seen in the video, but according to Kovalenko, the total losses among North Koreans in the Russian army are higher.
“They are now lying mixed with the Russians. The losses of Russian troops over the past two days of assaults are in the hundreds,” Kovalenko added.
North Korean military in the Kursk region
Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned the North Korean military. He noted that there is information about the first losses among the North Korean military.

The involvement of the North Korean military has not been without incidents. For example, yesterday, DPRK soldiers shot a car with Kadyrov's men because of the “language barrier”.
