However, a doctor promises that there is a sleep technique that can calm these constant thoughts, reduce pre-sleep stress, and ensure that you fall asleep within five minutes.
The method was revealed in a TikTok video. The doctor claims that he learned this technique from a professor at Oxford University.
The cognitive reshuffling method can help you fall asleep faster. According to the technique, you take a random word, break it into letters, think of new words starting with those letters, and visualize them in your mind.
For example, for the first letter in the word "sleep," you could choose options like sun, scare, or shame. You continue until you get bored or run out of words starting with the chosen letter. Similar exercises help reduce stress levels and speed up the process of falling asleep, the doctor noted.
