Following the drone attack on Dnipro on March 28, the number of injured has risen to 28, with nine people remaining in the hospital. The city is in mourning today for those who lost their lives, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"Dnipro is mourning today for those killed in the Russian attack. The latest attack claimed the lives of four people. My condolences to their families and loved ones," the official wrote in a Telegram post this morning.

The regional governor noted that, according to the latest data, the number of injured in Dnipro due to the massive drone attack has increased to 28.

"Nine of them remain in the hospital. The condition of two patients is assessed as serious. The rest will recover at home," he said.

It is worth noting that earlier reports mentioned 21 people injured in Dnipro due to the occupiers' drone strikes.

Shelling of Dnipropetrovsk region

The head of the regional administration also reported enemy shelling in the region last night. According to him, around midnight, Russian occupiers launched Grad multiple rocket system strikes on Nikopol.

"There is damage on the premises of one of the enterprises. An out-of-school educational institution was also damaged," the official said.

He added that there were no casualties or injuries in Nikopol.

As for the enemy's air attacks, on the night of March 30, air defense units of the Southern Command East shot down two enemy drones over Dnipropetrovsk region.

Massive drone strike on Dnipro on March 28

As a reminder, on Friday evening, Russian terrorists launched a massive attack with kamikaze drones on the city of Dnipro. The strikes caused fires and damaged apartment buildings, private houses, an educational institution, an administrative building, warehouses, and garages. The Russian army also destroyed a well-known hotel and restaurant complex in Dnipro.

Yesterday, the State Emergency Service and local authorities reported that as of the morning of March 29, four people were confirmed dead in Dnipro, and 21 were injured.
