Dietitian identifies main winter fruit to aid in weight loss
The dietitian and founder of the Healthy Mays clinic, May Al-Ali, has identified the main winter fruit that is not only delicious but also helps with weight loss, according to the Daily Express.
Which fruit helps with weight loss
It turns out that the best fruit for those looking to lose weight is persimmon. It will not only help boost the immune system but also lower cholesterol levels.
"Persimmons contain only 0.3g of fat per serving and six grams of fiber, which helps reduce inflammation and promotes healthy digestion. The tannins in persimmons can reduce inflammation, act against bacteria, and neutralize infections," said the expert, as reported by the Daily Express.
Don't be afraid of persimmons' sweetness, added the dietitian. It helps prevent sudden spikes in blood sugar levels and can even assist people with diabetes.
"Persimmons can be eaten fresh, dried, or cooked; they are often used to make jellies, beverages, pies, curries, and puddings. It has a mild flavor similar to melon but can be bitter if eaten too early," the Daily Express added.

How to sweeten persimmons if you've chosen a bitter one
Earlier, we mentioned that persimmons can sometimes be astringent due to tannins in the skin and seeds. There are several hacks to make the fruit sweet:
- allow persimmons to ripen naturally
- speed up ripening artificially (place it next to a banana)
- warm the fruit in the microwave
- freeze the fruit
- rub persimmon with lemon juice.
In addition, it has recently become known what things need to be placed in the wallet on New Year's night for money to flow throughout the entire year.
