Denim care guide: Maintain fabulous look of your favorite items
Denim items are very popular among women as they can be considered classics. They can be stylishly paired with various other pieces.
RBC-Ukraine shares tips on how to properly care for denim items, according to the Telegram channel of stylist Eliz Gan, known as Pocket Stylist.
Washing
Before washing, turn your jeans inside out to help preserve them from white streaks and wear, and to retain the color of the garment.
Harsh cleaning agents can damage denim fabric, so choose mild laundry detergents that match the color of the garment.
Washing in cold water and on a delicate cycle will help maintain the shape of your denim clothing and prevent it from changing size. It is not recommended to wash denim items with other fabrics, as it may cause damage.
Sometimes, during denim washing, dye may bleed, potentially ruining other items, especially during the first or second wash. This applies to colored denim, which may release dye into the water during washing, so be cautious and keep this in mind.
Denim items don't need to be washed as often as knits and cotton. This is applicable to jeans, jackets, and loose-fitting shirts, which can be washed as needed, showing respect for the planet and extending the lifespan of denim.

Store jeans correctly
I recommend storing jeans and corsets on shelves or in drawers in a way that allows you to easily identify each item by its hardware and distinctions. Shirts, jackets, and jumpsuits should be hung on hangers to avoid creases and additional folds.
Check the labels
Many manufacturers provide care instructions for their denim. It's important to follow their advice and adhere to the recommendations found on the garment's label.
Denim fabric comes in various densities and compositions, so recommendations may differ according to the fabric's specific requirements.
By following these tips, you can confidently choose denim of any color and enjoy their fantastic appearance throughout the long service life of your favorite items.
